This section provides details about the design and construction of the project, including safety issues and provisions. Changes to traffic arrangements during the construction phase are also provided here.
Detailed design began in mid 2007 with alliance partners, the RTA, Thiess Pty Ltd, and Parsons Brinckerhoff Australia Pty Ltd. Thiess will construct the project and Parsons Brinckerhoff is undertaking the engineering design.
Specialist sub-consultants include Conybeare Morrison (detailed urban design and landscaping plans) and Wilkinson Murray (operational noise management plan and the noise and vibration sub-plan).
