Toll free project information line 1800 353 670

The toll free project information line has been established to enable you to ask questions, find out information about the project, or to make a complaint.

Advertisements

Advertisements are published in the local newspapers to explain the current status of project construction, traffic changes and other factors affecting the community. A construction update advertisement is published every three months and traffic information is published on an ‘as required’ basis.

These advertisements can be downloaded from the Information documents section of this website.

Community updates

Community updates (newsletters) will be published for construction milestones and distributed in all areas of the local community affected by the works. These outline the status of the project, construction progress, upcoming construction stages, environmental management and community involvement achievements as well as information on project displays and locations.

These newsletters can be downloaded from the Information documents section of this website.

Other notices, leaflets and flyers

Letterbox drop notices, leaflets and flyers will be sent out to inform and advise local community members of any changes affecting individual properties, residents and businesses.

These items can be downloaded from the Information documents section of this website.

Community interest group

A community interest group has been established for the detailed design and construction stages of the project. Topics for discussion are likely to include local vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist requirements, construction traffic diversions, noise control measures, air and water quality, and landscaping/gateway treatments. The community interest group comprises local residents, representatives of local communities and businesses, council staff from Greater Taree City Council and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, the environmental management representative, and representatives from the RTA, Thiess and Parsons Brinckerhoff. The group will meet monthly throughout the detailed design and construction phases of the project.

Fact sheets

Fact sheets have been developed to provide information about some of the key elements of the project.

Fact sheets can be downloaded from the Information documents section of this website.

Community information centre

A community display centre has been established at the main site complex on Wharf Road, Johns River. Visitors are welcome to view the display between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
